Stay involved in your child's learning journey with these tools and tips.
Setting Up Your Parent Account
A parent account can show linked-child progress, grades, attendance, sessions, a weekly on-screen summary, and alerts. Account roles and child links must already be provisioned for the beta.
- Sign in through the shared account page with the parent account supplied by your school or administrator.
- Open the Family Dashboard from the dashboard navigation.
- If no child is shown, retry once and then use Technical support to request account-linking help.
- Do not put a child's password, one-time code, or private school record in the support form.
Self-service linking by email or invite code is not available in the beta. Support can investigate an existing school-approved link; it cannot verify a guardian relationship from an email request alone.
Monitoring Your Child's Progress
The Family Dashboard shows records returned for a linked child. Select a child tab before interpreting the information, and treat missing sections as unavailable data rather than a zero score.
Recent Sessions
Review the session list supplied for the selected child, including available subject, date, and duration fields. This is not a real-time activity feed and it does not expose chat content.
Study Time Tracking
The beta shows recorded session durations where available. Daily, monthly, and per-subject study-time analytics are not yet provided.
Quiz Performance
Review grade records returned by the school data source. Trend charts and automatic low-score alerts are not available in the beta.
Attendance and Progress
Use the attendance calendar and subject progress list as informational records. Ask the school to confirm any surprising value; the dashboard does not calculate an engagement or interaction-quality score.
Understanding Progress Reports
The dashboard requests a weekly summary for the selected child and displays it on screen when data is available.
Weekly On-Screen Summary
Read the weekly summary card in the Family Dashboard. Automatic Monday emails are not part of the beta.
Subject Progress
The subject list can show available progress and mastery values. It is not a diagnostic strength-and-weakness map and should not replace feedback from a teacher.
Exporting Reports
PDF downloads and AI-generated report recommendations are not available in the beta. If a school record is needed, request it through the school's normal process.
Reports are best used as conversation starters, not judgment tools. Celebrate improvements and discuss challenges together with your child.
Family Study Planning
Use the information on the dashboard to have a supportive planning conversation with your child.
Daily Study Goals
Agree on a realistic daily goal and record it in your own calendar or planner. The beta does not automatically track or notify families about study goals.
Weekly Targets
Choose one measurable weekly action, such as revising a named chapter, and review it together. Family-created goals are not synchronized between parent and student dashboards.
Encouragement
Recognize effort and improvement directly. Parent-visible badges and goal rewards are not available in the beta.
Getting Support
The beta does not yet provide authenticated parent-to-teacher messaging or meeting scheduling.
Contact the School
Use the communication method supplied by your school for academic questions, assignments, attendance corrections, or teacher meetings.
Technical Support
For account access, child-linking, or dashboard errors, use the support form. The form creates a general support request, not a private conversation with a teacher.
Meetings
Virtual parent-teacher meeting scheduling and follow-up action items are planned but unavailable in the beta.
Regular communication with teachers helps identify learning gaps early. Consider scheduling a brief check-in every month to stay aligned on your child's academic goals.
